THE ANNUAL MILOTA CONTEST – The Mills, Iota and Lota Awards – 2010

All the OD Members only are invited to participate. The entrance fee, for the contest is included in the renewal, so it’s not necessary to send money or request to participate.

Begins at: – January 01-01-2010
End at: – December 31-12-2010
You can work the actives all days of the week!

1.Objective:
For 11m operators (Oscar Delta members only) around the world to contact other 11m activation from Mills, Islands, or Lota as possible.

2.Frequencies and mode:
27 MHz and SSB.

3.Categories:
A: Single operator It´s mean one operator for log.

4.Contact Info:
In the log must be the information below:
- QZR activation
- DATE
- TIME
- FREQUENCY
- PROG# (if received one, not necessary for “in the log” form)

5.Multiplier:
A multiplier for one (1) for each different (MILLS, LOTA AND IOTA) contacted.
A multiplier for three (3) for each different (MILLS, LOTA AND IOTA) from contact with OD Member lives on IOTA (ex. 43OD001).
A multiplier for five (5) for each different (MILLS, LOTA IOTA) OD GROUP activation contacted.

6.Points:
- QSO with every MILL, LOTA and IOTA is One (1) point.

7.Scoring:
The final score is the results of the total QSO points multiplied by the sum of your contact multipliers.

8.Log:
All QSO’s must be passed on the official OD log. The logs must to arrive on later than 31.01.2010
The official log is available in the OD web site (www.oscardelta.org ) in downloads section and also if you write to: odbrazil@uol.com.br

9. Double QSO:
The same station can be contacted during only once per log!! No double QSO`s valid

10.Results:
Published on OD web site and OD mailing list and sent to all participants with Email address.

11. Manager

The Iota Manager reserves the right of disqualifying any station that doesn’t obey the rules of the Contest

12. QSL Cards
QSL Cards exchange is possible but not necessary.
